Burtell Fire Protection is looking for qualified:

  • Designers (CAD & NICET Certification preferred)
  • Foremen and Fitters (Apprenticeship Program Available)

 
Apprenticeship Basic Minimum Qualifications
 

  1. Age: Provide a birth certificate or other acceptable proof of being at least 18 years of age. 
  2. Education: Provide proof of graduation from high school or a GED certificate. Academic transcripts must be submitted with application. 
  3. Aptitudes: Applicants shall possess the basic aptitudes essential for acquiring the skills and proficiency of the trades. 
  4. Physical: Applicant shall be physically capable of performing the essential functions of the occupation without endangering the health and safety of themselves and/or fellow workers. Included in the requirements are Heavy Lifting, Prolonged Standing, Overhead Reaching, Ladder Climbing, and Working on Scaffolding or lifts up to 40 ft in Height. 
  5. Driver’s License: Applicant must have a current Montana driver’s license and a good, clean driving record. 
  6. Travel: Position requires travel as needed within the construction industry within a multi-state operation and to work on out-of-town or out-of-state jobs sites through the completion of any project. Reliable, adequate transportation will be needed for this position to get to the various job sites.

Designers:

  • We do all of our design using AutoSPRINK by M.E.P. CAD.
  • We design all types of fire sprinkler systems from warehouses to hospitals and everything in between. As a designer you would perform layout and design, calculations, fabrication, material listing, submittals.
